Our Pilates Classes

Come along to one of our Pilates classes in St Albans , and enjoy a relaxed, safe and friendly environment.

Herts Pilates classes are kept small 8-14 max, so students receive sufficient attention and support from the instructor.

We run daytime and evening beginners ,improvers , advanced for Pilates and Barre , also one to one sessions with our very experienced and qualified team of Pilates instructors

We want you to enjoy, benefit and feel challenged in our St Albans Pilates sessions.  Our classes are designed to be fun whilst at the same time achieving your aims. They’re not stuffy and we appreciate that you want to enjoy your relaxation time.To ensure that you learn the basics correctly and practice safely, we do insist that anyone new to pilates attend a beginners course. Beginners An introductory course to Pilates for the complete novice. Come along and learn the basic principles and movements of pilates and then practise them over the six week course. Ideal for those new to Pilates, coming back to exercise or complimenting other exercise to prevent injuries. Book Now! Check out our Pilates timetable.

Improvers For those of you who have completed the beginners course and are looking to take things to the next level by gaining more experience and learning a broader range of movements to challenge your body, enjoy and have fun! Intermediate/Advanced For all you Pilates Jedis who have practised Pilates for a longer period of time. Undertaking a wider repertoire of moves, at a higher level and faster pace to really challenge your core. Book Now! Check out our Pilates timetable.

Barre Workout

If you want to combine Pilates with a mix of dance, cardio and strength then try one of our very popular Barre classes on Monday and Wednesday evening and Wednesday and Thursday Morning. Great for thighs, glutes and tummies!Click for more info Barre Workout

Our  Pilates and Barre class policy
If you miss a pilates class we will always accomodate you in another class at same level within the half term course so not to miss any classes. By paying for the course you have secured your space in class for the course (which is non refundable) We limit our numbers in class to ensure maximum benefit for you and we hope you enjoy as well.

Pregnancy/ante-natal Pilates

(121 and small group)
For mums to be to help focus on strengthening tummy and pelvic floor muscles, improve posture and balance, give you more energy plus help you relax.

One-to-One sessions
A pilates session dedicated just to you. This fast track approach is tailored to your individual needs.

Private small groups (Pilates With Pals)
Are you a group of friends looking to start pilates? Why not organise a small group pilates session and have a fun, social pilates session in your home at a time that suits you? We bring along mats and any equipment used.

Corporate Pilates
Herts Pilates will come to your work space, for example your office or school, and teach you and your colleagues after work. What better way to improve your well being, relax and de-stress? We’ll even throw in some extra difficult moves for your boss.

What you need to bring
Just yourself and some comfy clothes. We provide the mats, the moves, the music, equipment and the fun! And you don’t need those fancy lycra numbers, anything will do as long as you’re comfortable. After all, you’re on a fitness drive, not a catwalk.
