Hi! I’m Claire, I first discovered Pilates 20 years ago whilst studying for my BA Hons degree in English and dance. Since then I’ve trained and qualified as a level 3 pilates instructor with STOTT Pilates as well as matwork with Pilates Institute.. I specialise in , pilates for children (qualified Fitness for Children), hypermobility , post rehab injuries ( referred from eg physiotherapist/osteopath) and pre and post natal Pilates. I love all forms of movement and dance . I am also a qualified Total Barre instructor which are fun classes to teach with the cheesy tunes and you get a good sweat on!
Nutrition is a big interest of mine and I am a level 3 advisor in nutrition and weight management and really enjoy running our online pilates and nutrition courses. Over the years, I have taught at local gyms a number of classes from aerobics, Boxercise, aqua, Pilates including Cannons, Esporta, Westminster Lodge, Dacorum Sports Centre and Harpenden Sports Centre. My true passion is Pilates (due to my dance background and keen participation in sport), and I wanted to be able to minimise class sizes to maximise benefit for students. . It is great to help make a difference to people’s everyday lives whether it be through improved posture, more energy, less/zero back pain, stronger core, fitter, toned bodies or better movement. Pilates can benefit everyone and can also be practised by anyone too!
